Bismarck-Mandan CVB Launches Partner Event Grant Program's Second Half of 2022 Information
The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau (BMCVB) has launched a partner grant program's second half of 2022 information. The purpose is to provide financial assistance to qualified groups or organizations that promote the community by hosting meetings and events that provide economic benefits to Bismarck-Mandan. The events must attract out-of-town attendees and provide overnight stays in the community. Funds may be used for marketing, hospitality or operations.
Sheri Grossman, BMCVB CEO, said, “The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau understands the challenges that many organizations and groups face with staging successful events. With this in mind, we created a new program to offer financial assistance to groups holding events, that draw out-of-town visitors, in the Bismarck-Mandan area.”
“Our mission is to promote engaging visitor experiences resulting in community economic growth and quality of place. This grant program aligns well with our mission and is a great extension of the services that we already provide to meeting and event planners.”
In a typical year, the community hosts 500 multi-day meeting and events, drawing over 378,000 attendees that spend an estimated $32.6 million dollars locally. The BMCVB knows how important visitors are to the local economy and continue to look for new ways to make selecting Bismarck-Mandan easier.
